1967 Chevelle Malibu




The 1967 Chevelle Malibu was probably the most widely purchased Chevelle in 1967. The Malibu was the middle of the road Chevelle it's base price was slightly lower than that of its big brother the Super Sport 396. There were over 200,000 1967 chevelle Malibu produced and they came with a wide variety of engine options.

There were five engine options available for the 67 Chevelle Malibu. They started out with the base six cylinder engine that was a 230 cubic inch 140 horsepower motor. Also in the six cylinder engine line up was the optional 250 cubic inch 155 horsepower motor. In the V8 engine department there were 3 options available. The base 283 cubic inch 195 horsepower V8, the 327 cubic inch 275 horsepower V8, and the 327 cubic inch 325 horsepower V8.

1967 Chevelle Super Sport




The 1967 Chevelle Super Sport was the top of the line trim package. It featured a standard 396 cubic inch big block Chevy engine that pumped out an Awesome 325 horsepower. Also available as options were two more 396 cubic inch engines. One was a mid horsepower engine that produce 360 horsepower, and the other one was the 67 Chevelle's legendary 375 horsepower 396 cubic inch engine.

To say the least the 67 Chevelle Super Sport 396 with it's big block Chevy engine was one of the most popular cars with consumers. With production numbers of approximately 63,000 67 Chevelle Super Sport produced.
